Applying to our team should be accessible to anyone, so we've put this guide together so you know what to expect during your interview.
General Advice
Focus on the approach. We’re more interested in seeing how you think about problems rather than whether or not you can solve them.
Be your authentic self. We value new perspectives and will do our best to create a comfortable, unstressful environment.
Ask questions if you need clarification. It shows that you know how and when to ask for help.
Behavioral
The goal of this interview is to better understand you as a person and teammate. We want to learn more about you as a person and how you work in a team setting.
We may ask you to recall a certain situation from your past experiences or describe how you would mediate different conflicts.
Tips for the interview
Details of anecdotes aren't as important as talking about your thought process and learnings
Resume Review
The goal of this interview is to better understand how you sell yourself and your purpose. We want to learn more about the experiences that brought you to where you are today.
We’re really looking for candidates who can hold their own with potential corporate sponsors, and make a strong pitch.
Tips for the interview
Be confident and concise
Highlight experiences in which you've taken initiative
Don’t stress out if you don’t have a conventional resume or feel that you are lacking in corporate experience – we're focused on potential
Case Study
The goal of this interview is to better understand how you approach problems and attempt to solve them.
You’ll be given background information about a sample app, and asked to come up with a short-term and long-term marketing strategy for that app. You’ll then answer follow-up questions pertaining to that example.
Tips for the interview
Explain your thought process while working so we can understand your problem-solving approach
Be confident and creative – push the boundaries showing that you can be innovative and effective
If you’re confused about the task, don’t be afraid to ask clarifying questions
